How to make a new claim

The details below are designed to give you guidance on what happens when you make a claim and the steps involved from when you first register a claim with us, to getting it all settled.

Step 1

It is important if you have purchased a vehicle with a BCA Assured report and you need to tell us about a problem that’s occurred on your vehicle, that you do so within 48 hours of receipt of the vehicle or 500 miles (whichever comes first).

Before making a claim - BCA do not wish to disappoint any of our customers, therefore, before making any claims, please familiarise yourself with the claims eligibility criteria here

You don’t have to call us to start your claim, you can register it online by completing the BCA Customer Claims form, making sure you have the following information to hand so we can process:

  • BCA Buyer Account number or full address
  • Registration number of vehicle
  • Sale date of vehicle
  • Please attach any supporting documents e.g. repair diagnosis or images of any faults.
