13 November 2014 - BCA opens new Danish Remarketing Centre
BCA continues to expand its European remarketing network with the opening of a new 70,000 m2 remarketing centre in Denmark. The new facility is the largest remarketing centre operating in Central- and Northern Mainland Europe.
The new centre launched with a two-day international Grand Opening auction selling over 700 tax-free vehicles to 90 buyers in 14 different countries over the 24th and 25th of September. BCA Denmark hosts international sales featuring up to 800 tax-free vehicles per auction, creating an efficient stock exchange for European transit volumes as well as domestic Danish vehicles.
The new centre is located in Billund near the German border, at the gateway to Central Europe with excellent motorway access (E45 exit 59) and adjacent to Billund international airport. The development underlines BCA’s European growth plans and further enhances its position as the pan-European market leader.
With excellent onsite facilities, BCA Denmark offers the full range of BCA remarketing services, including preparation, SMART repairs, imaging, inspection and appraisal, and offers both physical and digital auctions and online Bid Now and Buy Now channels. BCA offers tailored services for international buyers and a dedicated export team ensuring a hassle-free trading environment, with the full range of cross-border and import/export sales support and logistics.
BCA Denmark offers a broad mix of makes and models through its programme of tax-free auctions, creating a one-stop marketplace for international buyers, exporting tens of thousands of vehicles to an active buyer base of several thousand customers throughout Europe. Vendors regularly selling at BCA Denmark include Europcar, LeasePlan, BMW, Volvo and Audi.
BCA’s CEO Jon Olsen commented “BCA will continue to develop and refine our best-in-class services for our customers – both buyers and sellers – to optimise efficiencies, reduce costs and improve value across the European marketplace. The wholesale used car market is changing in Europe and we are meeting that challenge by taking the best practice from the digital arena and blending it with our expertise in cross-border vehicle remarketing and pricing.”
