BCA motorcycle super sale attracts the buyers
BCA Peterborough’s latest Motorbike Super Sale attracted nearly 400 buyers in person and online to bid on a wide selection of motorbikes, scooters, mopeds and ATVs.
With over 100 buyers in the auction hall and a further 277 customers online, the bidding was brisk and competitive throughout the sale, generating a turnover in excess of £600,000. Nearly 200 bikes were on offer and the pre-sale marketing had generated huge interest with the online auction catalogue receiving over 35,000 views before the sale.
Highest value on the day went to the 14/14 Ducati 1199 Panigale R which sold for £14,500 at just over 6,000 miles. There was also competitive bidding for the 2017-registered Honda CBR 1000R Fireblade, which sold for £13,700 and lots of interest in the three 2016-registered BMW S 1000 RR models on offer, two of which realised £11,400, with the third selling for £11,100.
Graham Sims, Branch Manager at BCA Peterborough said, “This was another incredible sale with a good number of trade and private buyers attending. There was strong bidding across the range of 125cc bikes, with sensible pricing and great condition being a priority for buyers, while the superbikes and sports machines continue to sell strongly. These bike sales at BCA Peterborough are always a big draw, and we are already consigning some interesting machines for the September event.”
BCA Peterborough stages Motorcycle sales on the last Friday of every month. Next sale is Friday 29th September at 1pm.
